FreeMill
is a basic but adequate 3D GCode generating engine from
Mecsoft. It
requires a little knowledge of tooling and feedrate basics. Input is in .STL or .3DM format.
Machined surfaces can be simulated to
check smoothness
at nominated tool and feedrate parameters.
There can be some issues with FreeMill. Up-to-date OpenGL drivers are required. Modification of the post-processor is required for users of MACH control software.
