davidhsmith.net was a long-term supporter of gmax. His site hosted MAXScripts to enhance function and improve file import and export options.   There were scripts and script- grabbers to assist with moving objects created in gmax into other applications for GCoding. Sadly this site is no longer active.

The most useful scripts for the CNC user are gears.ms, stairs.ms and circlestairs.ms. The first of these creates gears and cogs to match user input specifications.  The second generates a useful stepped object and the third a circular stepped object.  These stepped objects can very easily be used to create roughing path templates for CNC_Toolkit.
