The operation to make the
interior is known as a "Boolean
subtraction". The volume of the blue hemisphere will be
subtracted from the volume of the white one in the area of overlap.
There MUST be an overlapping of the objects involved for a
Boolean subtraction to work. To begin subtraction select the larger of the hemispheres as the active object. Access the gmax "Create" panel and select "Geometry" as the object type. In the selection box just below the tab area pick "Compound Objects". When the "object type" panel appears click the "Boolean" button. |
